Beginnings of a novel

I have been thinking about writing a novel. In fact, I began a few years back but never pursued the idea seriously. I have started to write again in the hopes that I will be able to finish what I started. The name of the novel is "The Madness of Jake Caulder". It is the story of a very disturbed man who had a very trying childhood and this continued into adulthood. It is not for the squeamish or faint of heart because some people may find some things in the book a little unsettling. As time goes on, Jake Caulder begins to feel reality slipping away to the point where he cannot decide what is real and what is a figment of his own mind. I will post chapters as they are done. I hope a few of you enjoy what I am putting into print. Time will tell.
